I would like to take a moment to share how wonderful the staff of Montrose Animal Hospital is. We recently endured the loss of our beautiful husky, Kodiak, a couple of days before Christmas. He had been a part of our family for a little more than 9 years. Kodiak fell ill in the last couple of weeks, we thought he had caught some kind of animal virus and he was being treated for such (a different vet clinic). His symptoms and overall condition didn’t seem to be getting better, and his gums were pale/white, so we took him back in. When we arrived at Montrose, their hospital staff rushed out to our car, and carried Kodiak in to immediately start diagnosing what was wrong. They went to work right away and did everything they could to help him. He ended up passing a couple of hours later, once we were home. Dr. Webster and staff are amazingly beautiful people, and the care they provide to our fur babies is unparalleled. They saved my sweet sweet senior dog and took her in same day. They were incredibly kind, and the price point even as an emergency situation was better than could have imagined. They have life long patients with us and our fur babies now. Our boys have been going to Montrose for years, as well as dogs prior to them. We’re always welcomed with a smile. The doctors and staff are extra caring, attentive, and know when to push you for the next test versus helping determine appropriate spectrum of care. Recently relocated from out of state and found Montrose Animal Hospital on the AAHA website since they are accredited (HUGE accomplishment btw). I absolutely adore Dr Webster and her team. Every staff member we came into contact with was kind and professional. My boy Zeus can be very anxious and stubborn at the vet… and they did wonderful with him. They were so patient, understanding, gave him lots of treats to win him over and were able to do a full and thorough exam. As a veterinary professional myself… I can’t say enough positive things about their low stress handling skills.
